About me

I'm Lehan Wang, a Computer and Information Science student at The Ohio State University. I enjoy building things that work end to end — from backend logic, databases and network configuration to clean, usable front-end interfaces.

Through internships at China Mobile and BGP Inc., I have worked on data cleaning and analysis with Python and pandas, internal management systems, and technical documentation. I like turning messy, real-world data into clear, useful results, and writing code that other people can actually pick up and maintain.

    Supporting data cleaning and organization for internal geophysical and operational datasets with Python and pandas; assisting senior analysts with data preparation, visualization and summary tables for internal reporting, and helping maintain data consistency during cross-team data handoff.

  2. Campus Project Leader — Paper E-Commerce Website (Course Project)

    Oct 2025

    Led a 3-member team to design and deploy a paper-selling e-commerce website for Computer Networking: A Top-Down Approach. Built the backend and handled network configuration — database design, user authentication, encrypted login and HTTPS setup — delivering a publicly accessible prototype with 12 products and simulated order placement.

  3. Software Development Intern — China Mobile Communications Group (Hebei)

    Jun 2024 — Sep 2024

    Contributed to internal management systems: developed Python data-cleaning scripts for customer complaint records, supported front-end interface testing and layout optimization with HTML and CSS, and authored technical documentation and version update logs, helping standardize the team's documentation templates.

  1. Dance Training & Performance

    Jan 2008 — Present

    9 years of formal training in Chinese folk and Latin dance, with 1st Prize (group), Silver and Bronze medals (solo) in municipal youth Latin dance competitions. Served as choreographer and rehearsal lead for 15+ students at annual sports meeting performances; later trained independently in K-pop dance and mastered 15+ routines.

  2. Organizer — Campus Book & Daily Necessities Donation Activity

    Apr 2023 — May 2023

    Organized registration and donation tracking across multiple dormitory buildings in a campus-wide activity, coordinating the collection of 200+ books and 50+ daily necessities, and managing 4 volunteers through sorting, inventory and final handover.
